Celebrate With Your People, Save Money, and Capture Every Side of the Moment

Graduation season is full of emotion—joy, relief, pride, and a little bit of “how did the time go so fast?” As both a photographer and a recent college grad myself, I get it. You’ve worked hard for this moment, and you want to remember it forever. But between all the moving parts—buying the gown, planning the party, navigating goodbyes—it can be a lot. That’s why I love offering group graduation sessions. They’re joyful, personal, and practical.
What’s a Group Grad Session?
A group graduation session is a shared photoshoot where you and your friends celebrate together. You each get your own individual portraits, plus group photos that capture your friendships and your shared story. It’s more than a few pictures—it’s a reflection of what this chapter of life has meant to you and who you shared it with.
Why Group Sessions Make Sense
They’re Cost-Effective (and Still High Quality)
Professional grad photos are an investment—but with group sessions, you can save money without sacrificing time or quality.
Here’s how my group pricing works when combining individual + group shots:
- 1-Hour Group Session:
- 2 people: $170 each
- 3 people: $160 each
- 4+ people: $140 each
- 90-Minute Group Session:
- 2 people: $190 each
- 3 people: $180 each
- 4+ people: $160 each
Compare that to my standard individual rates:
- 30 minutes: $150
- 1 hour: $225
- 90 minutes: $300
So when you go in on a session together, you’re saving up to $85 and walking away with both solo portraits and group memories.
Just want group photos (no individual shots)? That’s totally fine—I’ll just charge the standard individual session rate.
You Get So Much Variety
Group sessions are dynamic and personalized. You get the classics—cap tosses, diploma holds, posed photos—but we also have space to get creative. I love capturing:
- Genuine laughs between best friends
- Inside jokes and candid walking shots
- Coordinated outfits or matching accessories
- Champagne pops, confetti tosses, or balloons
- Solo shots in meaningful campus spots
- All the “we did it” energy you bring to the shoot
And because I shoot with both a documentary and editorial mindset, we’ll capture a blend of timeless portraits and the natural, joyful, unfiltered moments that make your session feel authentic.
You Celebrate Together
Think of it as part photoshoot, part mini hangout. Graduation is a huge milestone—but it’s also an emotional goodbye. You’ve lived so much life with these people—late-night study sessions, walk-and-talks, spontaneous adventures, and everything in between. Why not capture that?
Group sessions let you feel the moment, not just pose for it. You get to laugh, reminisce, and maybe tear up a little—all while I document it in a way that feels natural and true to you.
Behind the Lens: What to Expect
When you book a group grad session with me, I’ll help you plan everything:
- Choosing the right time and lighting (golden hour is always a favorite)
- Deciding on one or two campus locations
- Outfit changes if needed
- Props or creative ideas (I’ve got suggestions if you want help!)
- A relaxed, upbeat vibe—no stiff posing here, just honest moments
I’ll guide you throughout the session so you feel comfortable and confident, and I’ll make sure everyone gets their moment to shine.
Ready to Book?
Whether you’re graduating with your roommate, your closest friends, your team, or your whole sorority fam, I’d love to help capture it all—because this season deserves to be remembered. Group sessions are the perfect way to honor where you’ve been and who got you there.
